Welcome to Follow Up Friday hosted by Jodi with Heart Like a Dog and Jo-Ann from Sand Spring Chesapeakes.

I don’t have much to follow up on this Friday because, well, because I haven’t been blogging lately. I sincerely apologize for that and will get back on track right away. The reason I haven’t blogged lately is because I haven’t been feeling my best. Don’t worry, though, it’s nothing serious. In fact, it is actually a positive thing. I’ll fill you in on my other blog ( on Monday.

Since I haven’t posted much in a while, I only have a few comments from my last Follow Up Friday to comment on.

Snoopy from Snoopy’s Dog Blog said, “Funny to see you say about escaping from the seat belt harness, I did that when I was a pup and I climbed over two rows of seats and was very proud of myself! Unfortunately I then got a new harness that I couldn’t escape from – doh!”

LOL! Maya feels the same way about being thwarted by her dog seat belt. She’s never tried to escape from one, but I know she’s thought about it. She tried to chew hers off when she was a pup. Luckily, she was only going on short trips at that time so I was able to keep her from doing too much damage.

I hear about dogs being able to get out of their car harnesses all the time. The only dog seat belt that I think would be almost impossible to escape from is the ClickIt Utility. However, a dog that can’t wiggle out of his, might chew it off instead. The ClickIt might be the closest thing to escape proof, but it definitely isn’t chew proof.

Mollie with Mollie’s dog said, “I like follows up then I never miss anything. Have ordered mollies new seat belt. Have a super weekend xxoxxx

Thanks, Mollie! I’m so glad you ordered a new dog seat belt. Just curious, which brand did you get? Can you tell us your experience with it so far?

Flea with Dog Treat Web for Jones Natural Chews said, “I know, I know, I know that this is a silly question, but my Hunny started me thinking about it. And it’s not safety, necessarily. Do y’all have chicken hammocks? Your dog car hammock got me thinking. Hunny wants to put hammocks in the chicken coop. I think he’s crazy.”

Oh Flea! You crack me up!!! 😀 Sorry, but no. We do not have chicken hammocks. Sounds like an interesting idea, though. I wonder if there is a market for chicken hammocks? Probably not. But did you know there is a market for chicken sweaters? Visit my Fun Pets Pinterest board to see.

I’m thrilled to announce the winner of the new ClickIt Utility dog seat belt is Katherine Breton!!!

Congratulations Katherine!

ClickIt Utility Pet Car Harness

The Sleepypod ClickIt Utility Pet Car Harness

Remember, most sizes and colors of the new ClickIt Utility are out of stock until mid-November. It is not just me that is out of stock. It is everyone. The supplier, Sleepypod, sold out quickly when this new car harness came out and its top safety designation announced.

Once Sleepypod has more in stock, they will send us more. If you’d like to reserve one, let me know. I can keep one aside for you for in case they sell out quickly again. BTW, dog car harnesses make great holiday gifts. 😉

Thank you for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. Jodi:

Thanks for joining the blog hop! Some weeks we have more to talk about than others. 🙂 Today I ran over. LOL

Oooohhhh… my little mind is excited thinking of the reason you might not have been feeling well. Can’t wait to hear what it is.

    Have a great weekend!

  2. MayaAndPierson:

Jodi, I know what you’re thinking. But no, I’m not pregnant. That would be tremendous news, but not very likely at my age.

  3. Sue at Talking Dogs:

Congrats to that seat belt winner! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂

  4. Hawk aka BrownDog:

    Hi Y’all!

Yep, I chewed through the seat belt strap that snapped into the seat belt thingy. The Humans bought me a new seat belt that fastened to the seat belt itself. I chewed through the seat belt…that was expensive I hear. They bought me a different seat belt, but the strap is too short so my Human is looking for a longer one. Sigh…

    Hope you’re feelin’ much better,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
